Equine Assisted Learning & Psychotherapy
Thank you for your donations. The War Horse Project is an equine-assisted psychotherapy program intended for Canadian Forces members, Veterans, First Responders and Corrections Officers who have been adversely affected by trauma. This program has provided lasting and measurable benefits not achieved with conventional therapies alone.

The Story behind the Picture The Story behind the Picture
Lilly and Dakota are having some early-morning fun running in the mud - preparing for their workday with the veterans.

We're a not-for-profit organization that relies on donations and volunteers to run our programs. Your donations have changed lives. Here's what we've done so far:

  • Almost 100 people have been through 9 War Horse Programs since we began in July 2014
  • The average cost per person is $3000 per program
  • Every 16-week session costs $30,000
  • We have raised almost $160,000 to date
